I like to draw, paint, illustrate, sketch… you name it.

I’m usually inspired by a lot of sci-fi and fantasy, having grown up with Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars, and fantasy tales like Labyrinth. I’d have to say that one of the most influential periods of my life was the late 80’s to early 90’s.

That time was banana-pants for artists and creatives, with cartoons like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Thundercats fueling our young minds with danger and adventure. To this day, the TMNT “Heroes in a Half Shell (TURTLE POWER!)” song holds a very special place in my heart.

I’d have to say that equally influential in my adult life have been several movies and one amazing tv show. At the top of the list is Iron Man followed by Lord Of The Rings & The Hobbit, Tron, Avatar and then of course Game Of Thrones on HBO. I’ve heard people reference to George R. R. Martin as “the modern Tolkien” but I disagree, he’s far more adult and violent in his story telling than Tolkien ever was.

Enough rambling, enjoy my art and you’ll notice these themes and inspirations sprinkled across it. Please shoot me a message and let me know what you think of my art and illustration!

Thanks![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1407287602018{margin: 2px !important;border-width: 1px !important;padding: 10px 10px 0px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_message style=”square” message_box_style=”standard” message_box_color=”alert-warning” icon_type=”fontawesome” icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-info-circle” icon_openiconic=”vc-oi vc-oi-dial” icon_typicons=”typcn typcn-adjust-brightness” icon_entypo=”entypo-icon entypo-icon-note” icon_linecons=”vc_li vc_li-heart” icon_pixelicons=”vc_pixel_icon vc_pixel_icon-info”]Click on any image and the gallery view will pop up.[/vc_message][vc_separator color=”peacoc” style=”dashed”][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” interval=”3″ images=”52,378,379″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” title=”Paintings” img_size=”thumbnail”][vc_separator color=”peacoc” style=”dashed” accent_color=”#af0c0c”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1407287584715{margin: 2px !important;border-width: 1px !important;padding: 10px 10px 0px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_separator color=”peacoc” style=”dashed” accent_color=”#af0c0c”][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” interval=”3″ images=”341,340,339,342,343,344,345,346,347,371″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” title=”Illustrations” img_size=”thumbnail”][vc_separator color=”peacoc” style=”dashed” accent_color=”#af0c0c”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1423009890585{margin: 0px !important;border-width: 0px !important;padding: 10px !important;}” bg_type=”no_bg” bg_grad=”background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, color-stop(0%, #E3E3E3));background: -moz-linear-gradient(top,#E3E3E3 0%);background: -webkit-linear-gradient(top,#E3E3E3 0%);background: -o-linear-gradient(top,#E3E3E3 0%);background: -ms-linear-gradient(top,#E3E3E3 0%);background: linear-gradient(top,#E3E3E3 0%);” parallax_style=”vcpb-default” bg_image_repeat=”repeat” bg_image_size=”cover” bg_img_attach=”scroll” parallax_sense=”30″ animation_direction=”left-animation” animation_repeat=”repeat” video_opts=”” viewport_vdo=”off” enable_controls=”off” bg_override=”0″ parallax_content_sense=”30″ fadeout_start_effect=”30″ overlay_pattern_opacity=”80″ overlay_pattern_attachment=”fixed” multi_color_overlay=”” multi_color_overlay_opacity=”60″ seperator_type=”none_seperator” seperator_position=”top_seperator” seperator_shape_size=”40″ seperator_svg_height=”60″ seperator_shape_background=”#ffffff” seperator_shape_border=”none” seperator_shape_border_width=”1″ icon_type=”no_icon” icon_size=”32″ icon_style=”none” icon_color_border=”#333333″ icon_border_size=”1″ icon_border_radius=”500″ icon_border_spacing=”50″ img_width=”48″ ult_hide_row_large_screen=”off” ult_hide_row_desktop=”off” ult_hide_row_tablet=”off” ult_hide_row_tablet_small=”off” ult_hide_row_mobile=”off” ult_hide_row_mobile_large=”off”][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_separator color=”peacoc” style=”dashed”][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” interval=”3″ images=”590,591,592,589,373,372,370,369,368,367,359,361,362,363,364,365,366,335,336,337,338″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” title=”Digital Work” img_size=”thumbnail”][vc_separator color=”peacoc” style=”dashed” accent_color=”#af0c0c”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][templatera id=”1040″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

      Hi Colleen!

Wow, thanks so much 😀 I really appreciate the kind words! Illustrator and Photoshop is where it’s at! I use those two and pretty much nothing else these days… except WordPress for websites. Great to see you’re doing design stuff too!
